 Lou
Robichaud, founder of the Robichaud family of clinics,
became interest in hair restoration after witnessing the
rapid and traumatic hair loss of a family member who had
undergone head surgery.
A cosmetologist at the time, Lou decided to use her
talents to help people who have lost their hair. She
began her company in 1976, by restoring the hair of men,
women and children who were losing or had lost their
hair.
Lou Robichaud holds a Masters degree in Cosmetology. She
graduated from the Hair Loss Academy of Men's Creations
and is also a graduate of Dymanties Beauty College. A
certified hair loss specialist for Newman Hair Pieces,
she obtained her degree as a Master Hair Replacement
Specialist, graduated from the Versacchi Institute and
earned two separate degrees in Special Education &
Business. Her studies have taken her all across the
United States, and she continues her education and
training to remain on the cutting edge of hair
restoration. |

 Gregory
D. Shannon, MD, earned his Medical Degree and his
Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University,
Dr. Shannon completed a Hair Transplantation Fellowship
under the direct supervision of MHR Founder and Medical
Director, Dr. Matt Leavitt. Dr. Shannon maintains his
private practices in Michigan and is licensed in 14
states.
Previously, Dr. Shannon completed residency in training
in Emergency Medicines at Mount Carmel in Detroit and
practiced emergency medicine for 17 years. Dr. Shannon
spent several years in the United States Army serving as
a field Medic and later as a Medical Officer. He enjoys
flying, hunting, fishing, scuba diving and competitive
shooting.
Dr. Shannon is a Diplomat of the National Board of
Medical Examiners, the American Board of Emergency
Medicine, the American Board of Quality Assurance and
utilization Review, American Board of Forensic
Examiners, American Board of Medical Management, and the
American Board of hair Restoration Surgery.
Dr. Shannon is also one of the international Society of
Hair Restoration Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic
Surgery, The American Medical Association, The Michigan
State Medical Society, The American College of Emergency
Physicians and the American College of
Physician
Executives.
Dr. Shannon is one of 88 surgeons worldwide who are Board
Certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration
Surgery. He is also one of only 12 physicians who have
completed a year long fellowship training. Most hair
surgeons complete a 3 or 5 day course. |
